The Fee for Service Ringwood Children’s Contact Service has been operating for nearly 8 months now.  A steady flow of families utilise the service for supervised visits and changeovers.  The staff at the service are experienced and qualified.  There is no waiting list, application forms are required and from there service provision can be offered in a timely matter. The service is open Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays. The families are appreciative of a safe, and child friendly service being available in the Eastern Metropolitan Area of Melbourne.  The children and parents enjoy the range of toys and activates offered at the service.

Family Dispute Resolution Survey

20/2/2017

The Ringwood Family Relationship Center has been chosen to participate in the Family Dispute Resolution Survey in conjunction with Deakin University. Information on the survey can be found here.
We will use this evaluation to help us know if the service is of benefit for families, and ways it might be improved further.
An evaluation tool will help Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) services to monitor outcomes in a consistent way. It will help inform practice and funding decisions, towards better services and outcomes for families and children.
If attending the Center, you will be asked if you would like to participate.

When children’s parents do not live together the time they spend with each of their parents is precious.

Parenting Agreements outline what parents decide will be best for their children and is manageable by each parent.  Whatever the family situation, children should be able to spend quality time with each of their parents, whether their parents live together or apart.

Quality Time Spent Together
No matter what your Parenting Agreements, the way you choose to spend time with your children is more important than the amount of time you have with them. What is most important to your kids is that they feel happy, loved and safe.
